« The Government of Canada is providing $70,600,134 under the new Clean Water and Wastewater Fund for 134 projects to rehabilitate and improve community water and wastewater systems. The federal government will provide up to 50% of the eligible project costs under this fund. The combined contribution of $141,200,268 will go towards providing Newfoundlanders and Labradorians with clean reliable water sources.

As part of the bilateral agreement with Newfoundland and Labrador, the following projects have been approved to date for funding amounting to $69,642,174. Projects will begin development work immediately. Additional projects will be identified in the coming weeks. »
