Oland Lieutenant-gouverneur LIB Nova Scotia: Speech from the Throne, Second Session of the 50th General Assembly, June 28th, 1971 Mr. Speaker, and Members of the House of Assembly, I am pleased to welcome you to this the Second Session of the Fiftieth General Assembly convened in the Province. I extend my best wishes to each of you. I very much· regret having to interrupt your normal undertakings at this time of year, and to interfere with your daily activities but I am advised that certain problems particularly in the field of labour relations require your immediate attention. Legislation will be presented to you for your consideration relating to industrial work stoppage and picketing. To these and all other matters which may come before you I ask your most careful attention, praying that Divine Providence may guide you in your deliberations and decisions.
