8th Annual Graduate Student Colloquium CAPP 2014: It's time to submit your proposition!

It is a great pleasure to introduce the members of this year's organizing committee for the Colloque étudiant 2014. They are

The call for proposals was launched in Quebec universities, the University of Ottawa and the University of Moncton as well as the Université of Bordeaux. Each participant will present a paper concerning their research concerning a public policy and will present one constructive criticism of another participant's presentation. For more information about the colloquium, please see last year's program on the web site www.capp.ulaval.ca where you will also find the Album souvenirs 2013.

Propositions must be submitted electronically via the link on the CAPP's web site.http://www.capp.ulaval.ca/cms/index.php?page=cms/formulaireSoumission.php&temps=1350050165&menu=99.

The members of the organizing committee strongly encourage graduate students from all disciplines who are interested in public policy issues to present their recent work or to attend to learn about the work of other young reserachers.

This graduate student colloquium is a scientific event that brings young researchers in different disciplines and from different universities together in a friendly atmosphere where they can share their passion for public policy issues while acquiring a new academic experience.

The fundraising campaign is also underway. We hope that our traditonal sponsors will contribute to the success of this event. According to last year's participants, this graduate student colloquium is a friendly forum for stimulating discussions and new learning experiences.

Finaly, we wish to thank POLTEXT's research team for it s solid support of this activity and the professors who also participate by presiding sessions, attending presentations and even making presentations based on their own research.

If you have any questions, please write to capp@colloque.ulaval.ca or visit CAPP colloque on facebook.

Political Discourses and Website Update

We are pleased to inform you that we have completed the validation and improvement of our collection for budget and throne speeches for most provinces.  The federal political texts are being validated currently.

With the recent update of our website administration system, the political texts on the French and English versions of our website are now synchronized.  We intend to replace the French only headers that come with each text with bilingual headers. These headers provide the legislature, the session, the name of the speaker, the funciton and the political party of the government.

Please do not hesitate to communicate with us if you need additonal information, if you have pertinent suggestions or if you have access to missing discourses that we need to complete our collections.
